The car we present here is probably one of the most desirable Porsche 911 ever made. It was first deliverd in France and comes in the beautiful ocean blue color with grey soft leather interior.
What makes this Porsche so special compared to the 993 Carrera is that the Targa is known for its semi-convertible body style with a removable roof section. Porsche designed the Targa in response to the fear that the US would ban full convertibles for safety reasons. The car changes from a coupé to an near-cabriolet in about 10 seconds. The driver no longer has to carry a heavy cumbersome Targa top and find somewhere to store it.
Like the Carrera, the Targa features an flat six air-cooled engine with 286 horsepower, a six manual gearbox, two-piece exhaust, larger brakes with perforated disc brakes, upgraded power steering and an active spoiler at the back.
The car has only driven 96.700 km since 1997, has been well maintained and always slept in his garage. We love the optional third rear brake light to impress your pursuers.
