The first Porsche 944 S2 convertibles were marketed in September 1989. It was a 4-seater convertible equipped with the fabulous 3.0 l 16 S engine of the Porsche 944 S2 and which delivered the same power of 211 HP.
The absence of a side rear window and the new rear section has literally changed the character of the line compared to that of the Porsche 944. Seen from the back, it appears lower, wider, and even sportier than the Porsche 944.
This specific 944 S2 Cabriolet was acquired by its current Belgian owner in June 2018 and has an Oldtimer registration. The accompanying car pass shows that the Porsche has been registered in Belgium since 2005.
It is featured in a beautiful Indian Red color with a black soft hood. The paint is in good condition. The electric soft top opening system allows the driver to open or close the roof while sitting. Simply manually unlock/lock the closures.
With the soft top open, the Porsche 944 S2 convertible provides immense pleasure while offering a rare comfort for a convertible car thanks to its windbreaker that reduces drafts and limits wind noise.
