Description

H.F.S. Morgan (1884-1959) started to build his first cyclecars in 1910.
The first 4/4 (4-wheels/ 4-valves) was manufactured by hand in 1936 and kept the same silhouette for 50 years.
A long series of modernization of the model followed: adoption of disc brakes at the front and replacement of Triumph engines in favor of Ford 4-cylinder engines.

Of English origin, the chassis number C7924 presented here is a RHD (Right Hand Drive) roadster with 2 seats. It was delivered new in 1985 in the UK and is equipped with a 1600 cc engine from Ford Kent and a 5-speed manual gearbox from Ford Sierra. It is painted in Old English White with a black leather interior.

The current Belgian owner bought it in February 2014. Since then, he has made several modifications to the engine, body and suspension to enhance its performance and to prepare the car for racing. As a result, the open two seater provides a sporty driving experience and is fun to drive !

The car is in good aesthetic conditions. The body does not show any trace of rust. The 4/4 has a few desirable options such as chrome-spoke wheels with 195/15 tires, 2 round chrome mirrors mounted on the doors, a pair of Lumax headlights at the front, a racing grille, walnut dashboard and Morgan engraved walnut steering wheel with matching shift knob, a black roll bar hoop, bucket seats and safety harnesses and an additional kill switch. Sport suspension, front spoiler, 4-in-1 stainless steel exhaust outlet, reinforced clutch. Comes with its two retractable side screens. Note that the original black soft top can no longer be used since the installation of the roll bar at the rear.

With its incredible charm, its mythical line and its simple and reliable mechanics, this Open 2 Seater is looking for a new owner … Interested ? do not hesitate to contact us
