Designed for urban use, the Mini Cooper SE provides the driving pleasure of a Cooper S and the advantages of a 100% electric engine.
In appearance and inside, the Mini Cooper SE comes out of the same mold as other Mini Coopers with internal combustion engines (don’t change an icon!), but without exhaust and with a MINI Electric logo on the cover that hides the charging connector.
And like any electric vehicle, the instant torque of the mechanics is felt from the first turns of the wheel.
The power plant was borrowed from the BMW i3s model. The engine produces 184 hp. of power and 270 Nm of torque. Such traction is enough to accelerate from 0 to “hundreds” in 7.3 seconds with a maximum speed of 150 km/h.
What we love about this electric Mini is that it offers the same kind of driving experience as a Cooper S. The steering is as precise and fast, the suspension is firm and the braking is effective.
Its autonomy is compatible with the urban use that is generally made of a Mini 3 doors.
The eDrive screen provides information about the current battery charge and the expected power reserve, indicates ways to save energy, displays the shortest and cheapest options for routes to the end point.
The vehicle presented here is like new. Delivered in Belgium in July 2021 and featured in Silver White, it has only traveled 2,000 km and is still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
It has the highest trim level (Yours) and comes with many interesting options (for a value of 8,200 EUR):
